What’s on this weekend?
Brockwell Park Volunteers Open Day – Saturday 2nd June
This year there’s more than ever going on in Brockwell Park, and more than ever for Park-lovers to get involved in.
Help is always needed and we’ve found there are some areas where we particularly need specialist help, or a few more pairs of hands. So, in collaboration with Friends of Brockwell Park we are holding a ‘Volunteers Open Day’, where committee members from both organisations will be available to talk about a host of volunteer opportunities.
2pm on Saturday the 2nd June, Brockwell Hall
You are welcome to just drop in on the day, but if you do get a chance it would be great if you could email and let us know you may be coming along so we can make sure we have enough tea and cake! If you can’t make it but would still like to get involved, just drop us a line.
Bling Ya Bike – Sunday 27th May

Bling Ya Bike returns! At Brixton Community Base, Talma Road, SW2 1AS on Sunday 27th May 1-4pm and each Sunday through the summer. Open and free to young people ages 10-19.
The project aims to develop bicycle maintenance and creative skills by transforming an old bike through respraying and stencilling and raise the idea of recycling.
A number of videos are now available on YouTube to get an idea of just how brilliant and rewarding these workshops are.
